Stunning results with Over the counter Products. PROOF

I have started this tread for the Do-it your selfer in the detailing section or as a product review..

here is some proof that you can get stunning results with Over the counter Products that you can buy locally at your crappy tire and wall-mart. i use meguiars products but you can use anything you like. mothers is good too etc.

I have been wanting to try ultimate compound for along time and here are the results. it worked great for removing swrils.


What I really like about ultimate compoud is that it cuts harder than scratchx 2.0. and that it starts off coarse and brakes down to a very high polished shine and you can go strait to a paint sealant or wax after.

its very tricky to get your technique right as UC is to be a one step compound.

1. carwash
2. claybar
3. all purpose cleaner wheels and engine
4. Megs Ultimate compound with Dual Action orbital
5. Wax or sealent
6. detail Spray

personaly used a FLEX XC 3401 dual action orbital

but you can use any Dual Action orbital and any pad combination there are many out there.
