Maybe this is a long shot but I need some minor work done on my truck that I don't know how to do. I need my carb settings adjusted properly and probably a timing adjustment. I don't know how to do this but I've heard that it is pretty easy and for the timing you pretty much just need a timing light (correct me if I'm wrong). So I figure I might as well try here before I take my 1981 POS to some mechanic shop and get raped for more than the vehicle is worth. Specs on the vehicle 81 F-150 300 cubic inch inline 6. And like in the thread title, willing to trade for some beer or money etc...
