Not true. Some wealthy people don't mind making extra money while owning property. It's to their advantage. Friend's parents are multimillionaires and they rent their property in LA out to people and they couldn't give anything about that income. They do it because they can, because it's to their advantage. They are wise with their money, which is often why they are successful.

and what I meant by NHL players not being able to afford that, is that most NHL players make $1.9M, which isn't enough to afford a private airplane, two or three multi-million dollar properties, millions of dollars in cars, and millions of dollars of investments. Dion or not. If they did, it's short term, as most NHL players only play 8-10 years.

Their income is not only based on the NHL Salary. Sponsorship can up the game substantially.

I was taking a shot at the Leafs in general, no way this guy is playing pro puck and living next door to you in Burlington (too far from the rink and airport), the odds are against it.

It is the Habs in me bringing out the Leafs shot....

We're only 45 minutes from the airport, and almost everyone in this area does that drive. A couple NHL'ers live in Brampton (super close) and several live in Oakville, which again, is 40 minutes from the airport.
He doesn't play pro hockey, I know that. I don't know what his profession is.
