I like the C.F. interior if it's clean and tasteful...None of that Folia Tec stuff...Someone on there the onter day posted their new C.F. inserts for their Teg and those were sweet...

Carbon Fiber is PIMP. I've got the Carbon Package tray for my Type R and am waiting for the Carbon Door Inserts, the inserts cover the fabric on my doors which is a fairly large piece. I'm still debating on getting the Carbon Roof liner but the only problem is no one will see it.

I painted mine. Carbon fiber is to much $$ for me. My pics are in the Rides section under Honda/Acura

One of my cars the interior is painted, The whole thing doors, back side panels. A-piller and c-piller dash and headliner. The nice thing was i just painted all the plastic. But had to buy a fiberglass headliner. You can't paint carboard.

Anyone know if there are CF door inserts for G2's?
I stripped the cloth off mine and painted, and I've never really liked the finished product.

:werd: I think calling something rice went out of style a while ago...atleast it should have. For a while anythign and everything was rice. Seriously, the hobby has gotten large enough that everyone should just do up there cars how they find tactful and leave everyone else to do their own thing - then again freedom of speech lets anyone say whatever they want....I just don't get what benefits you gain by talking shit about what other people do to their cars. Sorry for the rant...it was kind of off the topic of CF - I'm just sick of seeing all of these different threads where half the posts say that a certain thing is gay or rice or whatever when the car in their signature is an 85' Volvo or a city bus.

i think fiberglass painted interiors are too much, almost always some bright ass color that makes you feel like your going to have a seizure when you see it (start foming from the mouth):D

CF i always liked, also a fan of brushed aluminum but I think it's been overused.

my opinion

after having painted interior in my winter car i will never do that to my car...the cheap do it yourself turns out like crap pretty damn quick, and i would never waste my money to have someone else paint it...my 2 cents

Its not a boat. its a car. Now each to their own, but a $45 grant GT steering wheel and a $20 set of pedals from Canadian tire do not a show car make.

Cause there High contrasting colors trust me its bright as hell in the morning but it also stands out very nicely at night.
But i think the Cf interior is very clean and suddle I would think about doing that instead of dye and paint next time.

imo, the problem with this sorta shit (i.e painting interiors and cf) is that its wayyyy too trendy and different. this is the sorta shit that goes in and out of style wayyy too easily. just watch, 10 years from now, everyone will laugh at over CFed cars the way we now laugh at painted interiors and super aggressive bodykits and say "wow that is sooooooo year 2000". the trick is to stay on top of things and have CF while its still cool for example, and ditch the bomex kit before everyone laughs. unfortunately some ppl will always be one step behind.

another way around this cycle of trendiness is to stay clean and stock, which will always be a timeless classic that no one can debate.

hey dude, i'm also a carbon fiber lover and want to have CF accents throughout the interior (to go with the autometer CF gauges i have on order) and the only thing ive found so far is the sheets of carbon fiber you can buy...thin layers that can be molded around the plastic panels, and its real stuff not some bs.
only crappy thing is i can only find the sheets in 9.7" wide by 1 or 2 feet long...but i did find this one just now its 19" by 2', that would do for the S13 center peice w/ shifter....

Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7944664329&category=50452)

teknical we should get together and figure something out:thumbsup:

edit: found someone who sells 4' x 3' sheets...dont know how much $$$ but id love to stare at CF every time i get in the car:bigpimp:
