I have to make just one crimp and don't really want to rent one if someone has one up in the NW area (Beddington and Stony Trail) that I could have for 5 mins.
thanks

Jay you are so useful haha, I might have to borrow that sometime down the line as well, we did half of our water lines in the basement already, but once we actually get to terminating those pipes in the washroom we will need one of these. Last time we rented for half a day just to do like 4 crimps

Ofcourse, if you need it earlier let me know, we are slowly getting through it, used it very nicely in the mud room, the hallway and my server room are next, and after that just the bathroom will get it done, but if you need it back just let me know anytime :)

Whats your best advice on patching my family room roof?
Ive got a 2 - 2.5 foot x 3in strip on a tape line that needs redoing due to the previous owners bathroom problems.

Looks like something I would lightly scrape and re-texture and blend with the rest of the ceiling.
Doesn't look like peeling tape in the pic.

Well I know it is missing some tape under there, becuase that is the "after" picture when i already tried the spray stipple cans, and the sponge stipple.
Im going to scrape it, fill it level to the rest, sand a bit wider than the problem area, then re-stiple and blend with the sponge.
Hopefully it looks good.

To hide it,.. you can't use those crappy texture in a can's or sponge stipple,.. LOL, you'll always see that spot.
you actually need to properly spray texture on your ceiling after you've repaired the ceiling better.
