Fuck no! There would be no way. It's unfortunate, but true.

Here is the easy version of the test. The actual class 7 exam is a database of 400 random questions.

Well, I passed that one.

18/20. I got the distance between cars wrong (guessed 5 seconds, correct answer is 2), and what a solid white line means... though I'm not technically wrong...

15(1) When operating a vehicle on a highway,
(b) in the case of a highway in an urban area where a single solid line only exists between traffic lanes, a person shall not drive the vehicle so that the vehicle or any portion of the vehicle crosses the single solid line from one traffic lane to another except when overtaking and passing another vehicle

I picked hearing imparied instead of visually impaired... other than that I answerd all correct. I saw a visually impaired person crossing a busy street once, it was very dangerous because there was no pedestrian light there and drivers were screeching to a stop, this was on 17th ave near sarcee trail. Also she did not have a white cane.

20/20 and 18/20. And I only got 20/20 on the first because I fluked out that someone using a white cane is visually impaired. How do they know? .... they're blind motherfuckers anyway....

I assume you are a city cop? Ought to have your own thread here on Beyond. Plenty of Q's seem to need the actual law and order input. Like the following, my cousin is an ex-RCMP, now a city cop in Regina, he would not bet on who was right in this instance:

At a four way stop, the following arrive at the exact same time; a fire truck (light/siren on), an ambulance (lights/siren on), a police car (lights/siren on) and a postal van. Which has the right of way?

Any idea?

20/20 and then 17/20

Both passes, but I am dissapointed with test 2.
All the answers were distance questions, 15 meters from a turn lane, I put 20 and then the fire hydrant one too, I put five.. it's two...
And the stupid crosswalk one. I put it's a pedestrian crosswalk, but it's a school crosswalk. :whocares:

bottom line is I know what the sign means to a degree that I would make the same choice regardless of its real meaning.

Usually Ambulance, Fire, Police, then Postal. It really depends on the call, hostile situation = police first.

10. When driving behind another vehicle under normal conditions, you should maintain a minimum following distance of:

A. one second

B. five seconds

C. two seconds

D. four seconds

I put 4 seconds... but 2? maybe depends on how fast? Meh, 19/20.

Cos
05-21-2010, 12:24 PM
^^ I remember being told it was always 2 because the faster you go the farther behind you become.
