So May long seems to be a good starting point for people's outdoor projects. Lot's of stuff to do this year. Today will be rebuilding the gate on the fence for me. Does anyone have any interesting projects on the go or planned?

Not sure if they are interesting or not but I have lots to do.

Post holes for the fence were dug last week and the neighbour said he would order the wood for the fence. If that shows up then I will be building a fence. I still have 3 holes to dig manually as well. If not, then I will get a start on building the patio/paths and leveling the yard out ready for sod.

If it gets a bit too chilly I will move into the basement and adjust a wall I put in a few weeks ago or do some more electrical.

Besides re-landscaping the yard, I'm fixing the fridge in my Trailer that decided to pack it in last year. I guess they werent built like back in the 70's. Both campers that my son and my Dad have are still going strong 40 years later.

The cost of a replacement fridge for my unit was $2200..not going that route. To buy the replacement cooling unit from Woody's or anyone else around here was $1300 for just the part. I ended up finding a company in Tennessee that does them. $650 shipped to my door...and yesterday I started the huge job of removing and replacing said cooling unit.

I plan to install a roll-up screen on the front door and finish installing the water softener that I bought recently.

If it warms up enough, I'll put the 2nd coat of 'Beauti-Rock' on my front steps... finish staining the garden boxes I just built and help the wife plant all the gardens.

I've been doing a lot of work in the front yard this year, in anticipation of listing my home in the next month or so, but it is really looking awesome out there! ;)

Nothing interesting but trying to finish up my garage and wanted to pick up a screen door for the front. Plus have to finish the tidy tail on my bike and a few truck things before the wife comes back on sunday.

Wish I was going camping.
