alright so i figured i'd post up some new pics an some of my new additions. so after driving the focus for about 35,000kms since when i got it three months ago, an done lots of re search an finding that the sohc model literally has no aftermarket support. a few weeks ago i ordered a 2004 dohc zetec with 130hp an 138 ft-lb trq. for $600 that's a considerably cheap upgrade with a lot more a/m support.

anyways this is a budget built time attack car/ daily driver. so i started off by doing a complete tune up on the engine an drive train components and changing every fluid, changing some seals an just replacing random trim pieces. then i upgraded to some Hella 110watt headlight on high an 85 watt on low beam. I also added a few necessary gauges.

anyways here's a few pics. ill try an keep you guys posted of changes an progress.

Good choice on the car but that SPI was a real piece of work. Props to you for recognizing it and getting a Zetec.
FWIW you may have been better off buying a complete donor car as the Zetec will not bolt up to the IB5 trans if it is a manual trans. Additionally the PCM will need to be from a Zetec car, not to mention the PATS.
Any more questions I can help you out (plus I may have a set of Koni Sport adj. shocks and lowering springs come available for your Focus).
