Course enrollment date is this Tuesday.
My core courses are picked for me, but they give me an optional course I can take. They also give me the option of NOT taking the course this year, but not sure if I should or not.

So do you recommend me taking an option in my 1st year of Eng?
If so, what option would be interesting and also a GPA booster?

I was thinking FREN 209 - Beginners' French I. Was told it was quite easy and I think French would be quite beneficial in the future. But the only FREN 209 class that fits into my schedule is in the evenings on Tues/Thurs 19:00 - 20:50.

So yeah, what do you guys think? Any options to avoid?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

First suggestion is to not take an evening course. Walking into a course at 7pm will get old by the second class and leaving at 9pm is depressing; I've been there.

Intro French is not a difficult class but learning a second (or third) language isn't easy so be prepared to stay up to speed with all the readings and make sure you do your homework or you'll fall behind pretty quick.
