How do I get this shit off a bath tub? Basically a 2-piece surround and I got most of the big shit removed but I have smears (which are dirty/messy) that I want to remove. What is the best way to get this crap off?

Not going to happen!

Same with PVC glue.

What is PL, in PL glue residue?

PL400 construction adhesive.
Mineral spirits, and even then it's no guarantee-that stuff is impossible to remove!

I think the glue is PL700. I read that once this PL shit is cured, it's never coming off even with solvents.

In any case, basically I had smears all over the bath tub join, as well as a few other places...

I used Goo-Gone on it - worked like a charm. Came right off. It wasn't cured as I had just put it on. I was in a rush since I had to go out, but hopefully I got all the major crap off. Because I'm guessing it's now cured. I'll check it out later and see! I'll let you know if I can still get that shit off should with Goo-Gone should there be any more residue on there...

Ya I doubt you'll get it off. Need to scrape it off but risk ruining the finish of whatever is underneath it.
Solvent works before it's cured. Once cured, it's too hard for the solvent to penetrate.

I think in the case of smears, very thin amounts of the PL glue, you could very likely polish it off. Quite often they have to polish scratches out of tubs when building new homes since they usually don't protect them during the build process as well as they should...so I'm sure that same process would easily remove the PL residue.
