if you owned an older gen 4th gen civic, would you keep it, do it up and have a nice old school car to drive around or would you save up for a year and get a base model gen 2 eclipse (95 or 96) (imported from the us) and of course do that up instead?

i'd just keep it to go from here to their, i don't find those civics nice looking. i how ever like the 5th/6th gen h/bs. but save up and get your self that new car!

I'd rather have a 1st gen turbo then a 2nd gen non-turbo. You're never going to get the money out of modding your car, but if it's worth it to you....

I would keep the civic personally. It may not have much power, but its a lot lighter than the second gen eclipse. WIth only the base 1.8L motor, the eclipse/talon/laser is totally ball-less, and has zero potential to get any real power out of it either. The civic has a lot more potential for mods than a base model eclipse does.

If you get the base Eclipse you'll be more likely to rice it out than be able to squeeze a lot of power out of it... :banghead: :p
