Does anyone know where i can purchase LaRge sheets of carving/sculpting/modeling styrofoam? Fairly dense and fine styrofoam... Im carving out a diorama and need to start carving the scenery/base of it. (geeky i know)

and possibly the chemicals to harden/seal the foam?

Try one of the model train shops. I'm sure they'll know.

Go to Rona or Home Depot and buy some sheets of hard insulation. Cheapest and easiest way to do that. I used that stuff for my model train set back in the day.

Don't put fibreglass resin on foam, it'll melt in most cases! Test it first. Most fibreglass resins are a polyester. If you use epoxy resin, you should be ok.

What you want is a product called Ureshell. It'll protect the foam from melting when you put resin on it. It's expensive though.
