i need a whole bunch of work done, and im just a poor.....student..... lol, u guys know anywhere thats pretty good?

IMO, avoid NorthHill Auto. Being a student and not knowing much about cars at the time, i got ripped $2500 to get my head gaskets replaced for my Land Rover.
I don't drive very often anymore :(

thats roughly how much should be charged.
theres sublet to machine the heads, and the labour to do that is quite a bit..

what did the op need done?

I too need a cheap mechanic for basic work,
Timing belt, fluids, spark plugs... anyone got any ideas?
I'm poor as shit.

all i rly need is, to get my power steering fixed, alignment, tie rods, rear discs installed (couple siezed bolts in the kit that i cant get off), brake flush, clutch lol
