I'm looking to get some new speakers, and I was wondernig if anyone knew of any 4.1 or 5.1 systems that would be a good upgrade. I'm currently using Logitech z560s.

-edit: just to clarify, i'm not looking to buy speakers, just looking to see which speakers are better to upgrade to. please don't pm me about buying speakers :)

You're already using a pretty decent 4.1 setup, dunno why you'd want to 'upgrade' to another 4.1 setup. As for better 5.1 speakers, the logitech z680's are good and the klipsch promedia 5.1's are prolly just a bit better

Most power for the buck are the Logitech Z560 and 680. The 680's are digital and 5.1 while the 560 is 4.1. They are just stupid powerful for a computer system!

For fidelity, i'd recommend with Klipsch Promedias. Either the 4.1 or 5.1.

sounds like you are upgrading computer speakers! in that case
Z680 would be a GREAT upgrade. very good bang for the bux. THx and everything

but if u have a little more $$, go for Klipsch for sure!

Isn't THX certification a measurement of not only the speaker, but also the room the speakers are placed in? If so, then are the THX cert. that the Logitech's have useless unless the speakers are in the perfect room? :)
