Just bought the wheels off a forum member. They're BBS RCs off a VW jetta GLI. Car's sorta dirty due to the crappy weather we've been having.

Is it just me, or the angle, or is your car higher in the front?

It might be the camera angle. I snapped these fairly quick. Yea I know it's riding a bit high right now. I might lower it next season. I'm a student on a budget lol

looks great!
once you lower it, it will look very good

you can pick up some lowering springs for pretty cheap over on WSC

The front wheel well is bigger than the rear, causing the front to look higher..

Holy 4X4 batman. Go get some springs, NOW.

But other than that, I like. 04/05's still my favorite.

easy there...just thought that BBS RC are aftermarket rims that the OP bought from someone who had them on a Jetta. I just wanted to clarify if they are OEM, sorry I didn't know that they are called RC rims and come standard on the Jetta.

BBS RC's are aftermarket rims but they were also OEM wheels for 2004/2005 Jetta GLIs. These ones are the OEM GLI wheels. Yea I know Lowering springs are cheap, but I don't want to prematurely wear out the stock shocks.

Thanks for that clarification. You should look at picking up some STi Pink springs. There should be used ones easy enough to find or new ones are fairly cheap. They should work fine with the OEM shocks and not wear out any faster. I have JDM FSTi Pink springs on my Fozzy.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! So awesome, I clicked on your thread expecting to find someone else who made sure they literally had 'new shoes' to pick up their new car! LMFAO!

I wore Nine West to the occasion! LOL. ;)

LOL. This is a car forum and most of the users here are guys, so we usually don't get too excited about new shoes (at least I don't). These are the only "new shoes" that I'd make a thread about :D

RCE springs are designed to work with stock struts. However, Tokico D-specs are some of the best bang for buck struts for the GD chassis.. I run them on mine, and I love em. Adjustable, longer lasting than the stock struts, and paired w/ my RCE yellows makes for a more comfortable ride than the stock STi suspension..

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind. I'm not touching the ride height until next year after I graduate school and get a real job lol. I was considering getting coil overs instead but we'll see what happens next year.
