I was looking over my time slips from the first night of Secret Street this year. My best run in my Nissan was [email protected]. I was running 8.5 psi. Does this seem like a fair time? I am going to be running 14 psi next time.

Also what would you expect a stock 2010 135i with around 9500km to run in Calgary, will I actually need my helmet for once?

It wouldn't surprise me to see one running around 13.3 to 13.4 sec's... That's depending on the conditions.

My 335i has the Dinan upgrade chip. It ran:

1/4 Mile ET: 12.918
1/4 Mile MPH: 108.110
1/8 Mile ET: 8.102
1/8 Mile MPH: 86.730
0-60 Foot ET: 2.048

Had some trouble shifting from 3rd to 4th gear because of Lag. The dealer seems to not get rid of this problem. Also had run flats. If she was running 100% i bet i would have done 12.7's..

cheers,

^ Is that in Calgary??

Just seems oddly close to this one in Florida, which is at Sea Level. (and at 3700ft above its tough to get close)

My best run in my s14 with the t25 maxed out at 12 psi, was i think 13.7.....but my memory is really hazy. It was pretty much a perfect run. The problem is the stock turbo/injectors will only support around 230 crank horsepower, at 80% duty cycle of course. Then if you google quarter mile horsepower, and put in that crank horsepower, it shows 13.7 with a perfect reaction time and 60 foot.

14.6 isnt tooo bad, but what was your 60 foot time? Thats where you most often need to make improvements, it will change your ET really well.

60 foot times were 2.262 pretty much all night.

you can make HUGE improvements on that.

i think i did my 13.7 at 12 psi with a 2.017 60 foot time. I did my 13 flat with 550cc, 2860rs@12 psi, z32 maf, and a 1.9 second 60 foot as i remember.

In the fatass s14 though (i guess you have all that brownish lightweight USDM body parts / speed holes)

Yah the s14 was 2900 lbs, my s13 hatch is 2700 haha, so i prolly could have run even faster with a nice lightened s13, and some decent slicks.

get a set of slicks man, it will drop your 60' to a retarded time (=

Unfortunately don't have the budget/drag race enough to warrant buying some slicks and wheels. I don't think I can ge much better 60 footers with my current tires unless I start warming them up.

It was in Edmonton. It is pretty funny the Florida guy almost got the same numbers as i did.

It say's he has a Stage II kit and that's about it. I have the Dinan stage 3, Dinan exhaust and a high capacity oil cooler. And my car seems to love the Elevation up here...

Also i am running at about 14psi..
