Today I was driving back from Invermere and I wanna know more about this cave. You can see this cave/ hole off the highway before you get to the sunshine village turnoff on your left side. I was wondering if anyone has been to it or know much more about it. I think the mountain is mt. Cory buy might be wrong. It looks pretty interesting and want to know more about it.

I've driven by that cave hundreds of times and always wondered about it.

What about right near Deadman's Flats on the south side of the highway. It looks like there is a building or a little tower way up on the mountain. I can't be more descriptive as it's been more than a year since I've been out there. Anyone know what it is or am I just seeing things?

I can't picture the building, but there used to be a ski hill there back in the day (70's?), so you might be seeing something from that. There's also a small condo development if you take go south on that overpass...

Could be a fire lookout too, there are a surprising amount of them around the mountains. One on Pigeon mt would have a huge prairie view.

In her 1948 book, "The Banff-Jasper Highway," Mabel Williams wrote that, "Members of the Calgary and Banff Masonic Lodges once held a meeting in this cave."

:nut: what else did they do up in that cave..
