there was a ticket master in Market Mall way back then.. We just set up camp outside of The Bay. I'm not sure if that's still there tho

camping out doesn't work with ticketmasters new system. You could be at the end of the end of the line and with the lottery get first choice on seats. :thumbsdow

Well......
I got my Shania Tickets (definately not Metallica) by loging in the second the tickets went onsale to ticketmaster.com and I picked them up right away.
They were mailed to me 2 days later and I never had to get off my ass (other than going to the mail box)...

If any of you have an Amex Corporate Express card, you can sometimes get front of the line privledges for concerts (seats for the Nickleback concert went on sale 3 days early compared to the general public).

If you really really want tickets get like 5 or 6 people and all go to the same ticket masker. All get in line but have 10-20 people in between everyone so that whatever number is picked you'll always have someone close to the front.

Does that make any sense?

If only the city of Calgary would quit being such dumbasses and allow concerts at McMahon... seeing shows would be such a hassle... and then we could actually get some acts that can fill a stadium with 40,000 people

If anyone is interested in getting some premium tickets to Metallica, I have four (4) floor tickets. I will sell all of them for a better deal than just pairs, but a sale is a sale. Best offer takes them!!! As everyone knows, it is illegal to sell tickets over the price value, so any value that is over the face price will be for a guitar pick...one similar to what Kirk plays.
