Hey! I got some questions about the compustar alarm systems. I hope someone can help me out! =)

If i'm gonna get the 2way systems with starters....should I got for the SS or FM? I really don't know what's better and what the diffferences are...

where can i get it isntalled and how much is the installation usually??

I would greatly appreciate anybody's help!! thanks!!

Get the 2WFM. It has better range. I wrote about this in a thread earlier so do a search.

And get 12V to install it for you. He did mine and I'm really happy with his work.

cool cool..that's nice to know....so how much am I looking at if i get 12V to install it for me? (in canadian or us dollars)

should i get the alarm system from him too?

I would recommend 12V also, does very good work. :thumbsup:

yeah I'm considering.. you guys got more info on this tho? Around how much am I looking at for the installation? I might have to gather some funds...

is there an approximate tho?? like i have no clue how much the installation will cost and wouldn't know if i have enough money...is it like $100? $500? $1000???? i have no clue...

Depends on the car. For my Jetta its a 9 hour install. Same with buddies Volvo. I think 250 for install on an easy car would be reasonable.

damn...go to impressions...about 2.5 hour job ( dependin what kinda car)
it will cost you about $100-$150.

i just got a compustar 1 way alarm/starter for christmas model # cm3000
just wondering how good this starter/alarm is?
