Id love if somebody chimed in and knew a good appraiser in Calgary. Im always afraid if anything happens to my car that I have a good solid appraisal from a reputable company or guy to have my own ass covered!

Interesting read. Though it is not exactly rocket science that the insurance company is going to try to pay you as little as possible.

When I had a car totalled, I accepted their first offer. I realized I could have fought for more, but their offer was actually quite fair, and I ended up getting double what I paid for the car.
