You might want to Let Nokia know this, because there specs Cleary State it's only EGSM 900/1900..

If you bought a 8890 under the impression it had 1800, you go taken for a ride.

Just a quick Lesson, Nokia never Had a triband PHone before, the 6310,7210, can't remember which came first. They had world phones which were only dual band, and I think the 8890 was the first Dual band phone/world phone for them.

Dual band phones like the 8890 are 900/1900, 900 for Eurp market and 1900 for Northamerica. However nokia still makes Plenty of models Just for the Europe Market which are ONLY DUAL BANDS, which only support 900/1800, which will never work here.

Now Triband phones, are 900/1800/1900
and Motorola is releasing a Quadband phone 850/900/1800/1900

That being said, Everywhere but Northamerica uses 900/1800 for Gsm

While Canada/Us use 850/1900
