I dunno if I would call a car with stripped interior, carbon window replacements and a full cage a street car, but that is fast, their are a lot of non-registerable cars that can't make that kind of time.

Haha, it isn't slow but I can see why his car can be considered "ricer". I like it though :D

Tsukuba SLB Lap Time: 57.963 Seconds

Stock Evo runs a 1:06:46

Shaved almost 9 full seconds off the factory lap time, and the stock evo x is no slouch.

ferrari, lambo, gtr, audi r8 all lap between 1:02 and 1:04

http://www.fastestlaps.com/track3.html

No production car has ever gone under 1 minute afaik, let alone under 58 seconds.

What intake and exhaust are you running for stage 2?

I'm running the Perrin cat-back and Invidia DP with 100 cell cat (install was a bit of a pain on my back under ramps as one of the spring bolts to the turbo WG housing is hard to access). As for intake I'm using the stock intake with Cosworth panel filter and AMS UICP. That's pretty well all my mods and right now I'm running the Cobb Stg.2 91 Octane & HKSPF map. Feels like a new car. Much faster than the conservative stock tune. Ideally I could get more power through a custom tune but Cobb is convenient as I can change to the 93 Octane maps if I wish.

mitsubishi BOO.. haha just playin.

That car sweet, agressive as fuck

On a side note, I know EVOs make quite a bit of power from mods, how much is the average gain with a stage 2?

Stage two your roughly looking at 28% horsepower increase and 19% torque

I actually just cleaned my car up this weekend with a few coats of wax and glaze. These pics don't do it justice but the glaze makes the paint look really good.

Looking good, Dominic!

I'm guessing with the mods on your EVO, you're not missing the MR2 too much anymore?

I love the EVO as it's faster and handles better but the MR2 has it's charm. I still miss it at times as I've always been a fan of small cars and truth be told the EVO is not a small car. I'd like to pick up a rare unmolested 94 Turbo but I just don't have anywhere to put it nor the free cash right now. I'll probably dress up the EVO a bit with some Swift springs and 18 x 10 (+25) Advan RZ (not sure if I should go gold or black) w/265 rubber but that's about it.

Awesome.

Ya, I would go gold over black, but that's just me.

+1 on Gold Advans.

Nice looking cars, love how much more aggressive that lip makes it look.

heavyD

Nice! What lip is that? Is it CF? You have pro-kit springs do you have any issues hitting bump stops or rubbing the front end?

4doorj
06-09-2010, 09:05 AM
Its the vasris style and yes cf. No issues hitting anythything.
With the new lip, maybe but I'm used to driving really low cars.
