Here's the deal: I recently switched over to a new computer. I don't want to lose all of my old music that was on my old computer's iTunes but I would like to add all my new stuff onto my iPod without losing any of the old stuff. When I plug in my iPod to my new computer and try to sync it says: warning, this will delete all your old stuff and replace it with the new stuff. I've tried to follow the online instructions but when I hit the "summary" tab when my iPod is connected to my new computer I don't see any option to switch to "manual sync" like all the online advice thingys seem to say there is. Am I missing something? Please help, thanks.

it's under the music tab when you plug your ipod in and click on it

ya, you can choose what playlists. took a bit to find, but once your ipod is plugged in cancel the syn and its under the ipod tab and settings or something on the left

You need to find the button that says "Manually manage music."

That's what I was doing wrong. I hit the "summary" tab but didn't scroll down. Thanks Fraser.
