you thinks this works good?

http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10335417&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000&eCat=BCCA|1482&N=4008586&Mo=39&No=12&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=1482&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-CA&Sp=C&topnav=

little pricey compare to ebay models. maybe buy and try and return if not so good.

Why not get the one for 49 bucks? Seems it would be accurate enough. I doubt you need three demical places?

For that price I would think it would work damn good. you plan on having some beers before getting on the road this weekend?

I had a pocket/keychain breathalizer before. If you drank HALF a drink, then blew into it inside 10 minutes, you'd blow over.

Now, that was a cheap POS, but it shows there is no regulation or guarantee of the accuracy of these.

Just a warning, whenever any sort of breathalyzer is available when drinking; it becomes an automatic contest. There's one on the wall at Maude Hunters, my local pub in Vic, and we've tried unsuccessfully to get our B.A. higher than all the other people... never ends well.

You have to wait 15 minutes after drinking to give the sample, otherwise mouth alcohol can give readings that are inaccurately high.

I also wouldn't rely on these things, because you can blow under but still be impaired.
