Where can I get a racquet restrung? Anyone have any experience with SportChek for this?

I would take them to Whats your racquet on 14th st and 11ave S.W. I've had a few done at sportcheck, but the tension didn't feel like what I asked. Whats your racquet does a much better job.

Went to What's Your Racquet this morning. Looks like they are renovating. Place was empty and ripped apart.

Took it to SportChek. I was impressed (wasnt expecting much). They had my racquet specs in a book and had the proper string and knew what tension to cinch it up to. $15 for the string, $10 for the service.

^^ Sorry about that. Didn't know they were renovating. Last time I was there was at least a few years ago.

I'd normally recommend What's Your Racket too, I used to go to school with the owners daughter so I always went there for my squash rackets and he always did a wicked job.

Well, I blew my new strings from Sport Chek at the end of my fifth game. Going to get a refund and take it to What's Your Racquet.

What's your Racket moved closer to the Calgary Tennis Club. They are now at 1505 15 Avenue SW, next to the Casel sales office.

Sweet. They have a drop box. I called, filled out the work order and will drop it off after hours. Turn around is a day compared to Sport Chek's week and a half. Sport Chek gave me a little grief on the refund.
