The Canon S50 (and almost all Canon DigiCams) take Compact Flash memory cards. The Secure Digital (SD) memory card will not work.

What speed is it? 50x 60x? How about read write speed(MB/sec). Little more info would be nice since I can find cheaper prices online but I don't know what I'm comparing it to.
