Built D series made 224.2hp to the wheels boosting only 10psi on a 16g evo III turbo. Just wanted to let everyone know how helpful and great Toma was at DynoMotive. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to get some tuning done. Even though we ran into a couple problems that were either my fault or unexpected, and the tuning took a couple hours longer than expected, I was more than impressed with how fair the final cost was and not to mention power made. I'll post some videos up this week!

That's some decent power :D

Built internals? Couldnt you have made that same amount of power on stock internals?

Nah stock internals are pushing it once you hit 200 i've heard more than once. I'd rather be safe than sorry and my goal is 300whp, only problem was the gredddy profec b boost controller was difficult to tune and very time consuming. I'm going back with a manual boost controller sometime soon!

Hmmm i should be getting mine done by Toma this wednesday. Hopefully everything is good! How much did it cost you btw? You can pm me if you want...

I'm sure you can reliably run 200 on the stock internals for a good little while. I did it for a season.

So it was just the EBC holding you back?

There's reasons I don't like those things.

Well, that and a couple other issues cropped up earlier, by then it was like 11pm, and I'm too old to stay up that late lol. I've tried, and then I just blow shit up  ;)

don't kid yourself :D I have a magazine with a d series built putting down over 700 hp and he makes over 500 torque. Turbos help bottom end alot if you size them correctly.

^ Don't kid yourself that 500tq is not in the bottom end :P

Probably only available at 6k plus.

With that said OP probably has around 170-180wtq which is very good.

Toma tuned my Honda as well and we also had a few issues, mostly my fault and it was a brand new motor. His prices were fair and he was very helpful.

I would also recommend him to anyone!

LOL yeah

No boost no torque, gotta wait for the turbo to do its job.

Oh hahaha, i know that they dont develop that torque until the upper revs, of course, thats kind of just what 4 bangers do in general (=. But comparitively speaking, would it make that kind of torque at that rpm with an na build? most likely not, it would be even higher in the band ;)

That's still high, my car redlined 7k and max torque at 3100

kind of a bump from nowhere, but wanted to say thanks to Toma. He tuned my little hunk of junk tonight despite its piddly performance and was helpful and friendly throughout the evening.

lucky for me i didn't get any of the creepiness aforementioned by sr20s14zenki:thumbsup:

Highly recommend Toma and will continue to do so to everyone I come across that needs tuning services.:burnout:

I forget does Toma use a Mustang Dyno or a Dynojet?

If those numbers are on a Mustang Dyno then

I'm using Crome on a P28...I think 92-95 is OBD 1?
