I have like swirles inside on my windows & dirt how do I make the inside of the car windsheild shiny>? Without making it greasy>?

Also whats a good thing to clean your dash with & dials...where gauges are as I have like this film or something its either inside the gauges or on the outside but it looks kinda like a wax like stuff..drives me nuts

Ideas?

I don't like how it stains hands though! Works well if you don't mind having black on your hand :)

go Costco get the windshield cleaner(i think it's call Stoner). Pls don't use windex as there is some chemical(can't recall the name) that will make the stain greasy film on the glass(assume this is refer to glass.

correct me if i'm wrong

Here is an old detailing trick.
You need at least 4 towels. A good glass cleaner like SprayWay or I.G as noted above.

First do the inside of the windows, wipe up and down. Once it is wiped dry, roll down the window and clean the edges. Follow up with one dry towel still wiping up and down.

Go outside, repeat, but this time wipe left to right. Follow up with a dry towel. If you see any steaks, you know which side of the glass they are on! :burnout: :burnout:

As for you interior gauges and such, run to Canadian Tire and grab "Quik Interior Detailer". Both V1 and V2 work the same, but V2 has UV protection and V1 is just a cleaner. I never found the UV protection to be that great anyways though.

What you need then, is a black man to come do your windows for you. No?

Regular Windex has ammonia and can damage tint and interior plastic. I love invisible glass, that stuff works great.

if your windows are really dirty, spray with cleaner, scrub with hand, mop all the muck up, then do a standard clean with window cleaner and newspaper

Costco sells them in 4-packs for $12 IIRC.

This is the best glass cleaner I've tried.

i find any aerosol can glass cleaner that is ammonia free is the best chemical to use. Then use a microfiber rag to wipe it down and get rid of most of the junk on the window. Then lightly spray the window again and use newspaper or paper towel to do the rest. Using a microfiber rag will leave streaks. NO MATTER WHAT. people say no it doesnt but take the car out in sunlight and you will catch streaks guaranteed.
