Are you talking about the ball joint or actual LCA bushing that connects at the engine cross member?
If its the ball joint, they can be removed with a BFH and anger release. The bushing can be burnt out and a new one (poly) can be slipped in.

ummm well While my car was on the hoist I gave my tires a wiggle and there was a clacking sound coming from the steering. I grab the steering arm bushing and gave er a twist and shake, it's pretty loose. That would explain the clunking while turning. Is the bushing that I grabbed the culprate? If so should I pay for nissan to ship it in from japan $133 or just replace it with an aluminum one from bings.ca?
or does anyone wanna take a quick look?...
Cam at Royal oak said $140 to see whats the problem
and Mike at Brasso Nissan said they wouln't even look at it...
