I read the article about CFs on dpreview.com but it's difficult to find the ones they tested for sale in Canada.

Anyone have some personal reviews and/or recommendations?

I'm looking for 256 or 512 that has fast image write speed & decent read speed

Can't go wrong with Lexar.

lexar, kingston, sandisk...

if you're looking for the highspeed ones then definately go lexar!

ive found that overall, kingston memory is the most compatible with the widest range of devices.

Can't go wrong with Lexar. They're faster than the Sandisk ones, but they consume more power, so it's a trade off. I have both Lexar and Sandisk SD cards, and I can definitely notice a speed difference.

Never used Kingston, so I can't speak for it.
