I have to say, that's quite a remarkable coincidence.

The slowest car I ever owned was a 1991 Mazda Protege. Good little car, but the thing was slower than Corky Thatcher.

Early 90`s Pontiac Bonneville auto.

Paid 1000$ and it had 2 missing windows.
Tranny slipped out of gear if you pressed the gas more than 30%.

You could rev out first and second would slip a bit and third was almost non-existent.

Scared me a few times going up hills and it would be slipping and I would have to feather the gas to keep the power from slipping out the tranny.

I bet it would take 30 seconds or more to do the quarter mile.

I overheated it so bad one time I had oil boiling on top of the valve cover.

Early 90's Geo Metro
1.0L 3 cyl that cranked out a whopping 55hp.
I think max speed in that was just under 120. I remember one time coming home from Southcentre to the north, I had my foot on the floor the entire way and I barely hit 120.

1984 Honda Accord with automatic

I had a 82 Accord with less HP, but manual, and it was WAY quicker than that POS.

My 98 Civic Si even with it's intake and exhaust (which probably added 0.2 horsepower) it was deathly slow :thumbsdow

1986 Hyundai pony.

It was a Lemon of a car though. It was one that actually worked, and would not die. I had a rule, if it broke down, I would spend $20 to fix it, if it cost more, it was going to PnP. I was always able to fix it.

One time, I remember the fan belt breaking on the way up the Cochrane hill on my way to work at the airport. I was so happy! I was sure this would finally kill the car. Nope, It got me all the way to work in rush hour traffic and didn't overheat at all. Sure enough, a new fan belt was $6.99 and it was good to go again. I finally called it quits and donated it.

I can't remember the year, but I think it was a 82 accord. I learnt manual with it and it was a tank with almost 400k on it until some punk decided to run into me writing it off.

My first car was a 1997 Prelude, it was heavy and the worse part is it was an automatic. LOL!

The fastest car I've had so far was my Mazdaspeed3 which I still miss to this very day. :(
