Edmonton Hotels?

I am trying to get together some friends to go up to edmonton in a couple weeks and since we are all student and hence need to spend as little money as possible we need to find a hotel for cheap. Anyone know where i could get a hotel near west ed (doesn't have to be that close) for cheap? Thanks.

we usually stay at the ramada inn w/ waterpark, it's about a 10-15 min drive from the mall but it's really cheap, and pretty decent. it's on calgary trail, and most rooms come with a balcony. if i remember correctly we paid $99/night last year for a standard room.

I found Executive Royal Inn in West Edmonton pretty cheap. I believe it was $89 but could be higher now. It's about 3km north of West Edmonton Mall; 4 min drive.

i believe the derrick dodge (lodge?) was the cheapest half decent hotel

Dude use priceline! You should be able to get a decent hotel for very cheap that way.

Try the hostel if you're looking for really cheap. There's decent bus service to the west end from pretty much everywhere.

Look up yourself heh. Its so easy to find good hotel deals to edmonton, of all places

west edmonton mall inn, is cheap and is right infront of the mall.
