View Full Version : Question about component speakers...
Might be a dumb question but here's what I understand,
Component speakers usually come with a set of tweeters, mid-bass and cross overs. How do component speakers increase sound quality if they don't come with actual speakers?

Huh? What? The tweeter and the mid are both speakers. You generally mount the tweeter away from the mid to give better, clearer sound as two & three way tend to "muddy" the sound.
Hmmm I thought the tweeters produced the higher pitched sounds and the mid-bass would make...well bass lol :dunno: And what was left was the speakers to fill in what the tweeters didn't.

mm, ur tweeters make the higher sounds ur woofers that come in the component speaker package reproduce mid and a bit of low end sound.... if you want bass then u need subwoofers...
soo
tweeter = high range
woofer = mid range
subwoofer = low range
oh and if you look at the "speakers" u thinking of you'll notice a tweeter mounted in the center of the woofer
hmmmm ok I think I got it thanks
