Now that Option Import is toast I'm looking to find a new oil change shop that carries Amsoil European formula.

Anyone know of anywhere decent?

I don't know of a place that sells that but my friend is an amsoil rep and can order whatever you need and have it shipped to your door.

Alright, then any good places that offer a decent price when you bring your own oil?

I don't know of anything cheaper than you + jack/stands and some basic hand tools and 15 minutes of your time. :dunno:

^ Haha, the problem is, I hate changing my oil/worry about the disposal and all that fun stuff. I like paying people so I don't have to do stuff. I just don't like paying them too much ;)

If you like Amsoil -- Just get a wholesale customer status and order it from the warehouse in Edmonton.

^ what is the "status" thing? You can just order, it's easy.

You can buy it at partsource BTW!

I used to go to the pennzoil lube in bowness across from bow cycle. Was $30 if you brought your own oil and filter, and you were in and out in 5 minutes. With all fluids topped up.

If you have lots of vehicles and like their filters and oil (and other products) it's worth to join as a "Preferred Customer" and get the Amsoil special decoder ring.

Preferred customer just rang a bell. You're right, 35 dollars a year or something?

Thanks guys, my friend in Edmonton has a membership and is running me down some oil this weekend.

I'm just going to do it myself.

~$80 per change in oil plus $30 for a filter!

I'm sure I can get the filters cheaper once I look around online a bit.

what kind of filter do you use? My K&N filters are only 10-12 bucks
