does anyone know a place that do sunroof glass replace in calgary..

the dealership want too much money to get it replace and i called a few auto glass comp. but they dont do runroof glass... im just wondering if u guys know a place where i can get it done. pls let me know i need to get this thing done ASAP.

Comes as one unit. You have to buy it from a scrapyard or mazda. Then you just unscrew the old one and screw the new one in. Very easy to do.

I got a rock through my sunroof on Deerfoot in the fall. Only place I could find in town to replace it was Dominion Glass. Coincidentally, the dealership uses Dominion also. Sunroof through Dealer = $1500, OEM replacement through Dominion = $700.

Possibly find another Mazda with the same sunroof or another car being parted out. The swap is relatively simple

Might try in Montana, better value? Worth the day trip to get the installation possibly.

My sister had her RSX sunroof replaced from an insurance claim (shingle hit it), basically zero damage seen with the naked eye, but the adjuster noticed a wee scratch and said it had to be replaced along with the other $3,400 damage from a wind storm. No glass panel was offered, the adjuster ordered a brand new unit from Acura, no used item offered.
