I am looking for a good golf pro to teach beginner lessons. What should I be looking for, and what should I be expecting to pay?

I took lessons at the NGA Golf Dome. Had 5 lessons and it was around $150. Was suppose to have 6 people in our class but we ended up only have 3 people so it was pretty good.

Do you recommend them? Did you get better after the lessons?

yes I would recommend them. I'm a newb so I definitely got better but I am still really bad. Golf is probably just not my type of sport.

^^^ THIS.

I'm an OK golpher - never took any lessons, been teaching myself for 3-4 years now. Usually golf mid 90s.

I paid for single lessons with a pro. He set up multiple video cameras and there was software to analyze my swing, and it replays with swings of various pros.

In a matter of minutes, once I could actually see and understand what I was doing wrong, every single drive I hit was STRAIGHT and I was dropping them at 300 when usually im lucky to carry that far.

I can't recall the guys name, but he was good. He gave me the simplest tips and showed me how to improve. It took all the mystery out of it. It was AWESOME.

Well worth the money IMO. 150/lesson i think? I'll b e back again later this summer for sure.
