You could wait till after its due, but that might not work out as well :nut:

You wait for about a week after the ticket has been issued to you then you go and see the crown prosecutor. or you can wait till court day and spend your day in court waiting for them to call your name..

go to court any day before or on it's due date, and when you talk with the justice of the peace tell them you want to talk to the crown prosecutor.

they will call you to his office and you ask him for help with the ticket. he'll ask you what happened and then will usually offer to reduce the ticket to something else.

when you have an agreement you take your ticket back to the justice of the peace, plead guilty and either pay then or make payment arrangements for a later date.

if you can't come to an agreement, then you tell the justice of the peace you plead not guilty, and they will arrange a court date. the date is usually like 5 months later.

good luck!
