Did anyone see the line today holy hell!! it went up the stairs and around the corner... I was lucky enough to get a Annual Pass this year! Cause I sure as hell would not want to wait in winter like I did today...

I had been waitlisted, when i go to pay for my waitlist I got booted off.

I am in Paris with no way of sorting this out.

Looks like I am not paying again for parking this year...:dunno:

I just bought an evening/weekend pass for $216.. (Annual) I guess I since only 1 of my classes is in the day time I will be risking it.. Oh well...

i think its 750 total so 325 online and 325 inline.... but from what i was told they were telling people they are releasing 300 more on august 14th

Are there any passes available for tomorrow? I'm fuggin' pissed because I was online from 7:15am - 11:15 am constantly refreshing every 2 min. I didn't not see ANY annual pass go up for sale. My wife swung by MRU @ 3pm and they told her to come back tomorrow. I'm not too sure if any will be available though!

Go first thing tomorrow then because I know some people last year that were lucky and got passes due to the fact that the CC's of people who ordered online got declined and kicked them off the system leaving a pass open

Plus i dont think you can buy annual online only semester but not to sure as I have only seen e&w annual ever being avail. online and semester

I completely forgot until about 10 am but hell with it - transit is payed for with Upass and it's only 4 bucks a day to park in a pay lot. Drive on days you have to, bus it the rest.

The evening and weekend pass starts @ 4pm on weekdays and you can use it all weekend...

That is not that bad IMO...

If they are still doing parking across the street at the that church (on the west side of campus) most of you guys should definitely hit that up. You pay something like $50 a semester and it isn't that much further away than most of the other places you can park. Parked there for my 2 years at MRC and never had any problems.

Stood in line for 2+ hours (i thought i was early enough) at the church to get a parking pass, but as i approached the door (maybe 20 people in front of me), they sold out.

.. they had people camping there since 1:30am. DAMN, SON!!
Now im officially SOL...

... and i be paying the $4 daily for this semester...

Yeah pretty well...
Maybe one or two days i went i couldn't get anything...
But theres two lots, and the lot further back is HUGE... If you have to park in back corner, then so be it.

After the withdrawl date, you'll find that theres typically always spots available in the closer lot too, so definitely hit that up (plus itll be the colder part of the semester then too!)

When I went to mount royal I would just say I lost my pass, they would give me a new one and I would give it to my buddy. Did that for 3 years.

I was in line with a friend @ 5:30 am, there was roughly 120-150 people ahead of me in the line, taking into account the fucking line jumpers.

From what i heard anyone who arrived past 6:30 got cut.
The stupid thing about the church is that even though the line was massive, they were still allowing people to buy more than one pass if they want to get one for their friend..:dunno:

It starts at 4:00pm and weekends all the time, i paid like $230 for it I'm asking 200obo for the pass... PM me if you are interested

I dont think the 6 digit code is an issue... What sort of parking lot security is going to walk around punching in codes to make sure the pass corresponds to the car?

... The holographic logo in the corner would make it hard to duplicate though.

I saw them checking plates yesterday in front of the rec center ad it was pissing out, if your in any of those lots and your plate isnt on there list u get a ticket. The parking at mru must make a shitload of money

Man, things have really changed since I last bought a pass 3 years ago. I got a East parking pass every year for no problem and it was $90 a semester.
I'd be PISSED if I had to deal with that shit considering how hard it is to get to Mt Royal from the NW.
