Just got it today!

When I gave my nephew my beater of an 85 mr2 it didnt last much longer but it was long enough for the bug to bite him. So he searched and found this mr2 and had it imported.

So being new and young on the scene we were hoping for some advice. What to do and not to do. where do you like to keep the RPMs, maybe some preventetive maintenance.
It needs some clay bar and polishing/rubbing compound. The rear rim looks like it has baked on brake dust so how can we clean that up (brake cleaner??).

I know there are RHD haters on here and such but please don't come on here and hate . Constructive criticism is welcome and advice is greatly appreciated.

If by bug, you mean the customizing your own vehicle kind, then I suggest you search up Redlyne_MR2 and his thread.

He has a huge and epic thread following his MR2, and maybe you can get some ideas from there.

So we need a few things after the first attempt at the OOP.

It needs a right inner tie rod. Can someone please tell me where to shop for that. For the DRLs, I have read in other threads about buying cheap lights and wiring them into anything that turns on when the car starts but the tech says it needs to be exactly like the domestic mr2???. Wheel bearings, wiper blades and tires should be easier.
