It appears that a bird has decided to hang out in the fireplace. Short of having a fire, what would be the best way to get it out?

Maybe cat pee would probably work in place of a cat?

Just got him out, looks fine. We just pulled all the blinds and opened both front doors, and he let us carry him out.

:thumbsdow to 311 and animal services. Apparently they "don't deal with animals in homes" and "do whatever you think is necessary to get it out" or " get the yellow pages and hire an exterminator". Lazy retards, not everyone is going to kill a bird just because it fell down a chimney:rolleyes:

Sounds like a proper response from 311. Your a big girl, it's not that hard to deal with.
