Hello all,

Robertshaw Racing ( www.robertshawracing.com ) is currently seeking a chassis set up / race car mechanic to join our team.

We contest a 2006 Pro Formula Mazda and a 2.0 Liter Formula Continental. Both cars are current 2010 spec cars and are well prepared, reliable race cars.

The ideal candidate will be able to take data sets provided by our MOTEC and Pi data systems and transfer those data to the race car by way of corner weight, spring rate, ride height, toe, chassis rake, compression and rebound adjustments.

The ability to read data is also an asset.

WHAT WE OFFER;

A race team with a respectable race budget
current, well prepared cars
a comprehensive array of the latest chassis set up equipment
all travel expenses
a fun, competitive effort

WHAT YOU NEED;

chassis set up experience
the ability to work some nights pre race
are dependable
sense of humour
a strong sense of pride in the work you perform (we are fussy)

The team has only this year acquired the Pro Mazda and the intent is to learn the car this year and get ready to contest in 2011, in two Pro Race Series, The Formula Car Challenge and a few races in The Star Mazda Pro series events.

We are young at heart (save the Driver owner who is old) and have a strong desire to be competitve and deliver a solid performance where ever we go. We prepare our cars in the shop and then dial in the cars at each specific track we go to and then race. We dont go to the tracks to service or do prep work on the cars!

We are not a Pro team as yet and may never be but we do want to compete at the higher levels and as such we need people who care about the quality of work they do, are competitive, want to win on the track and have some laughs along the way.

You can see specs on the Pro Formula Mazda at www.starmazda.com , specs on our Formula Continental car on our web site, www.robertshawracing.com.

So if this sounds like you may fit, male or female or know someone who may be interested please contact us here on the forum or through our web site. Thanks for your time in reading this request.

Regards,

Blair Robertshaw
