OP have you actually looked at the requirements for SC2?
they are very low compared to most FPSs and RTSs, theyre calling for a 128 mb GPU ffs for minimums
run of the mill 3-4 year old computers will run it, i.e say a 3.2 pentium 4 with a 512mb gpu should be sufficient if youre just looking ot run SC2
just fyi so you dont go all out just to play an RTS with such low reqs

laptop? Futureshop has a $750 14" Gateway with a Core i3 and NVIDIA Optimus 330m 1 GB GDDR3 video card.
It should run SC2 pretty well and you can take with you.

I don't want to hijack this thread but I will! :poosie:
Can anyone here help me price out a budget gaming system for Starcraft 2? Just looking for a desktop to run the game on ultra. $600 is my budget. :( No monitor required

If you can fix mine I'd sell it to ya for about $200ish, bout 2 years ago I left the house for 30mins and came back and it would not give me anything beyond a black screen. The computer itself turned on but would not boot up, just a black screen. I had a friend look at all the hardware and could not find anything burned or broken. The initial thought was that the powersource died and I never got around to looking into it. It has a nice Processor/Vidcard/Motherboard/Ram/HardDrive/Case. If it's just a powersource that's only $100 or less, the desktop itself b4 it died ran Counterstrike:Source and Battlefield 2(with expansion) flawlessly so I'd imagine SC2 would run easily on it. I will include Battlefield 2 but Counterstrike is being run on my laptop so you'd have to get your own key for it, I could include the CD's tho since it's already installed on my laptop.
