They have them at all 3 dealerships. That car is amazing. it is a direct competitor for top end BMW and Mercedes.

its a shame that vid didin't cover all the 1000's of features but hey, gives you a pretty good idea of the magnitude of that cars qualities.

Will be interesting to see if the America market will get hung up on the fact that this car wears a VW badge. This is the same market that Honda, Toyota and Nissan felt that they couldn't sell higher end cars with thier current names, hence Acura, Lexus and Infiniti.

:werd:
Its hard to believe VW even brought this car out... the base 4.2 costs slightly less than the Audi A8. I think people with that much money would opt for the A8 instead of spending ~100K on a VW :dunno:

The model in the Northland showroom is ~$125k, I think it's the top-of-the-line (W12, AWD, etc.).

it is a huge freakin passat. Well no it isnt but it look alot like it and if i were spending over $100 000 i wouldnt want to look like i am driving around in a $40 000 car. To expensive for a vw and they are trying to be something they are not, superluxurious.:thumbsdow

201 MPH in a sedan - with no engine noise? That's mad!

That top gear vid was great - the guy was just stunned how good the car was.

How absolutely retarded. So sensitive to image and what the neighbors ,co-workers and relatives might think.

Yes, very concerned with people knowing how much you spent on the car (status symbol *cough*).

they are trying to be something they are not, superluxurious.
Don't you mean to say "They are trying to be something they are not - rich peoples status symbols". That it is absolutely top end super luxurious is pretty hard to deny. You are just hung up on the 'image' of the VW brand. Due to VW not trying to portray their cars for really rich folks earlier.
