I cant see very well but I dont think theres much difference other than the long section of hose. Neither look stock though.

second pic is routed to a catch can.

^oil may or may not squirt out during open throttle... so a catch can is a cleaner option than just a breather since it holds the oil :dunno:

There is a baffle built into the inside of the valve cover, that prevents oil from being able to be carried out of that hole, but there is still vapour that can get out. Routing a catch can is a good idea to keep that vapour out of your intake tract. One end of the T on the valve cover should go to the back of the crank case, as it already is, and the front of the t should go to one side of the catch can, and the other side of the catch can should be routed to the intake pipe, as it was factory. The catch can will capture any vaporised oil inside it.

the catch can is a much better route you wont have as much oil end up in you engine bay. and its a little bit of a more finished look

so just running the breather filter will be fine for now right? like it wont hurt or damage anything...

It wont hurt anything. Your engine bay may get a big of oil vapor in it depending on what kind of shape your engine is in. An engine with more blowby, will cause more to come out of there. I had an engine that was down on compression on #4 due to some detonation. By the time i pulled the engine, it could fill a catch can with oil in a quarter mile :D
