Scammed by a Jared Fulton

I was on kijiji and I was looking at a pair of Monster Beats Tours earphones. This guy was selling them for $120, and said that it was brand new in packaging and plastic seal.
I e-mailed him and purchased them from him, finding out later that they were fake. The packaging looked real and everything, but once I listened to them, you could tell that they were fake. They didn't even compare to the real thing.
If anybody could help me out here, it'd be great. He even said that if I found out they were fake, he would give me a refund, but now he isn't replying to any of my emails.
The only info I have on this guy is his postal code and email, any help would be appreciated.

I have tried my friends and they were from best buy. So yeah I'm pretty sure they were legit ones. Nothing like these ones, sound like total crap.

These earphones are also usually 180 brand new, the 40$ ones are the knockoffs. I thought these were going to be legit too, since the price wasn't too low to be obvious, but I guess I thought wrong.

How long ago did the purchase occur, and when did you first try to contact him to get a refund? How many times have you tried to contact him, and via what methods? Have you given him enough time to contact you back?

I think everyone here is a littel quick to jump on the "scam" bandwagon...
