theoretically yes, but in reality not really, unless you have very expensive rubber, 2 inches aint that much shouldnt be a prob
but if you awanna be certain, get an alignment and and ask them what thte negative camber is

You should be okay with an alignment

Worst comes to worst, if you end up with a little extra you can probably fix it with a pair of crash bolts. After the car gets dropped, and find out what the camber and toe specs are. If you see undue tire wear after a little bit, fix it then.

You should be fine with just and alignment. I had my 94 dropped 4 inches on 16's with no screwy wear at all, just needed an alignment. I've never seen a camber kit for a VW anyway.

VWs aren't like Hondas. We don't need camber kits when lowering. An alignment is all you need.

well currently it would be the type S vs the 1.8t
the r32 is nowhere in the same price range, nor will it be available in canada!

Suggest you look at a "bump steer" kit when lowering your car.

Intrax makes a Cambor Kit, and Suspension Techniques makes a Pro-Align Kit for cambor, castor and ball/toe adjustments. for the 94 Golf 4cyl.
And I'd have to agree that the VW is better than the Acura. Better suspension, better engineering and better chick picker upper.
