Finally got around to install the dual valve springs and m22x cams, changed the valve springs without taking the head off... Made a custom spring compressor, after lots of scratches on my hands got all 16 springs installed! but it was well worth it. Engine runs smooth no vibrations in the cabin, and hopefully make more then 140whp

Back from the dead!

It's time to let the b series rest and go on to bigger and better things, B16 bent a valve and after I fixed I just didnt wanna put it back in and then take it out again.. So I pulled the trigger and said fuck it go big or go home, so im going to be doing a k24/k20 frank motor, the orginial plan was to go with k24a2 but I might aswell do it right the first time. Its better to put the k20 head on now then doing it later.

I relocated the rad over to the driver side, I was going to weld the brackets but im a noob at welding and didnt wanna blow through the metal. I ended up with a smilar rad relocation kit as k tuned....

I was looking high and low for a lsd tranny, but couldnt find one other then a Si tranny. but since i had already bought my shifter box i had to find a dc5
Tranny, so James had a 6spd rsx tranny laying around he offered to install the 4.7Fd & LSD... So Tranny rebuild is now done, everything installed by James (98luder)

Hi and fantastic job thus far thanks for great pics. all i gotta say is very detailed and very cool. I am doing the hated h22a into ej6 as we speak... and always admired the k20'/24 just too expensive for me, especially after driving a buddys in tacoma washington, he had a "bulletproof" dogbox trans and that thing would litterally rip, no joke spun through 4 gears, no clutch means seemless shifting, and in an 1800lb eg shell, was nutz.So that being said I think you should enjoy this swap alot more than the b series, and it should be very reliable. keep it up !

I think he meant your belts.

They should be wrapped over a harness bar. The angle is too steep..

They should go straight back and over a bar or wrapped around the bar

When mounted to the floor like that, or at anything below 15? degrees horizontal, the forces subjected to your body if you're ever in a head on/frontal impact could break your back.

Thanks homie! I will be running 12.5:1 compression with kelford Spec C cams.. Which are the biggest they have! 14.5mm lift on intake and 13mm exhaust!
