She only got charged with a misdemeanor. Double standard a little bit?

Think it was just an excuse while they manhandled her in the backseat.

She was carrying hers on her.

I think in the USA if a normal guy was drunk and accidentally discharged a firearm (not inside a cop car, or at cops or around cops) he'd only be charged with a misdemeanor too. Concealed Carry FTW.

Not sure if that normal guy would still be alive after doing it in a police car though.

I'd say they treated her different than the average joe, but they obviously know her personally. If it was a farmer or someone that the cops knew very well im sure he would have gotten the same treatment.

Also, i doubt the cops would be giving non arrest taxi rides to random drunks. If it was a random drunk guy he'd be in cuffs in the back as they don't know him or trust him.

I can see where youre going with this one, but not so sure the double standard exists in this case.

Shes so lucky they didn't pop her though. The guy appears to be crying while screaming at her, like he was actually scared he was going to be shot.
