Edmonton's Rexall Place has racked up 24 health code violations since 2009, making it the worst major stadium in Canada from a food safety standpoint.

Ha, notice given to their football team and their hockey team playing in the sickest arena in Canada. Bad day for Edmonton sports lol.

No kidding, they should move their football team to an outdoor stadium or something...

Its nice to see Edmonton is not immune to the Alberta bashing by douchebag easterners on CBC in the comments section.

I read it as you were saying that the Eskimos played in Rexall....my bad.

Back to your regularly scheduled Edmonton bashing.

And Calgary's was a close second I heard on the news this morning.

Of course not. The CBC goes out of their way to post any negative stories on Alberta... puts them as national headline news... and let's the free-for-all begin.

Precisely why this leech of a corporation should lose it's taxpayer funding.

Jealousy is a strange thing, eh.

Sifting through some of the comment sections of the CBC website is a total eyeopener (pun intended) on how clueless and moronic some eastern Canadians are.

Its a stadium, of course its going to be a little bit nasty.

30,000 people with beer filled bladders and a couple of hours with a backed up sewer - thats whats scary to me.

Does the guy that cleans up hockey player spit have to do it every day I wonder?

Imagine the old days with the gladiator fights where you could actually catch some squirting blood on you. Ringside!

If the Jets were still around i bet you my left nut that Winnipeg's arena would have taken the crown.

I've been told not to get the popcorn while at the saddledome (told to me by staff), they routinely have to clean & disinfect them because they have a problem with mice.

With that being said I always bring my own food and drinks anyway. Only once have I been told that I cannot bring in outside food & drink, I told the kid to scan my club tickets and fuck off.

Sitting in the club seats and bringing your own food isn't very baller.

Who gives a shit if it's baller or not? It's not very baller to be glued to a shitter for a couple of days after because you ate food you knew was probably unsafe.

Indeed, but would you be up to the challenge Mr. I? I certainly would never want for anyone to get sick eating out, but if you are the gambling type...

I have never heard of anyone getting sick from eating at the Saddledome. Shitty excuse for being a cheap.

Hey! Escort is a real job! Lol, looks my high horse is more of a pony.
Still, whether you win by and inch or a mile winning is winning. And Edmonton wins at health code violations.
