those flimsy 3foot rot iron hand rails always seems kinda sketchy for being +/-250feet up.

curious about the results of the investigation.

RIP.

Did the railing break/come free?

He was like 9, not a toddler, so I figure it'd have to be something like as opposed to him purposefully climbing over the railing...

They suspect he might have been standing on either his skateboard or his bike. No signs of damage to the railing.

I looked at renting a place in that building. Super SKETCHY. Also, two other men have jumped off in the past. One of those did so right as a friend of a friend of mine was walking underneath.

I knew a guy that lived in bromley square, he had nothing but problems (maint.) With the place..

Regardless, I don't think this was a case of faulty building.

They interviewed the mom and dad last night. The mom thinks this: she was calling for her son from within the apartment, he must've thought it came from below, so he climbed onto the railing and was leaning on it/looking down, and must have leaned too far and fell over. It's pretty sad.

Perhaps not... But there's more falling/jumping deaths from Bromley square than any other building in the city.... Seems to happen every few years.
